Delete your Five Loaves account
You can delete your account and its data yourself in the app, or ask us to do it by email. You do not need to sign in to email us.
Delete it in the app
- If you have a Two Fish subscription, cancel it first (see below). Deleting your account does not cancel it.
- In Five Loaves, tap the account icon at the top, then Delete account.
- Read the note, type DELETE to confirm, and choose whether to also remove what is saved on your phone.
- Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
If you no longer have the app, email us
- If you have a Two Fish subscription, cancel it first: in Google Play (or the App Store) if you subscribed in the phone app, or through the manage link in your receipt email if you subscribed on the web. Deleting your account does not cancel it.
- Open the email app for the address you use to sign in to Five Loaves.
- Send an email to hello@fiveloaves.app with the subject Delete my account. The button below fills this in for you.
- We will reply to confirm, and delete your account within 30 days.
The email must come from the address on the account, so we know the request is yours. If that is not possible, write to us anyway and we will find another way to confirm it.
What gets deleted
- Your account and email address.
- Your subscription status record.
- Your monthly AI usage counts and Ask conversation counts.
- Your request cost records, which are deleted or detached from your account so they no longer identify you.
We do not keep the text of your Ask messages, so there is nothing to delete there. Saved verse explanations are shared and not linked to you.
What is kept or handled elsewhere
- Purchase records are held by Google Play, the Apple App Store and RevenueCat under their own policies. We cannot delete them, but you can ask them to.
- Subscriptions must be cancelled in the store. We cannot cancel them for you.
- Backups may keep copies of deleted records for a short time before they are overwritten.
- On your device: your progress, Baskets, notes, settings and downloaded audio live only on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them.
